"From a Nissan '96" 2'' x 2'' Medium density fiberboard (MDF), CDs, hot glue, beeswax

For this project, I recalled an early memory from my youth. Every weekday, I would join my dad on an hour long car ride to my daycare near his office. We spent this time listening to music and with me peppering him with a relentless stream of questions. I would be allowed to each day select a handful of whatever CDs I wanted out of his thousands on the shelves of our house. He would tell me about the artists and the information about the time and relevant information of whatever album was playing. The wood is representing the headrest I would stare at everyday from the backseat and the fragmented CDs the many reminiscences I have of this experience.
